Pixels Of Depression
‘Let the pink skies
Lift your spirits blue
Dont allow the dark pasts
To colour your attitude…’
Or just a mere ruse?
Your normal world can only remain bright,
If my dark shadows aren’t cast on you.
You want me to paint my life anew,
When all I see are grey hues.
I wont eclipse my emotions with a rainbowed smile.
And I wont apologise for the rain drops; so hold the tissues.
For I know that life is but a white lie.
And that’s THE ONLY TRUTH.
I have huge respect for people like Arjun who show no fear in speaking about the dark times in their lives in order to bring some light into the lives of others.
This poem is my ode to people who don’t want to hide their mental illness.
