My Tiny Tales: Weights.

They resisted as much as they could but it was a losing battle.

They had been too strong for too long and now it was time to fall.

The pivots were weak, the base unsettled.

They had held up the burden on themselves for years but now they couldn’t take more,

The knees of the daily wage laborer, the mind of the bipolar teen and the weight pivot of the skyscraper finally gave way.

Most said they could easily be replaced, some said they were one of a kind.
