Calm. #FridayFotoFiction.

Published by knightofsteel on

The waters were calm. The port was abandoned. The flag had lost its shine and the chairs had gathered dust.

It was as if nothing had been changed for months. Everything was quiet. The peace, held within itself, the story of a gory war.

No sides won, everyone lost. Billions had died and those were just the humans.

The Neural Bomb had done its job.

It killed every neuron cell on the planet. The humans were dead and so were all the animals. Only plants and primitive animals were left.

The world has been taken back by millions of years, and the death of everyone smart was all it took to achieve global peace.

I am taking part in the #FridayFotoFiction – Weekly Flash Fiction Writing Challenge hosted byTina and Mayuri

Thank you! I remember someone telling me about how a neural bomb was being developed to protect buildings. I thi k it was more of an urban legend. Still a terrifying concept though

The way the world is aligning it’s politics right now, I wouldn’t be surprised if this became a reality someday. -KoS

Is there such a thing? Or did you just now give them the idea?

      knightofsteel · March 19, 2018 at 11:48 AM

I had heard fables about how it wa sin development at some point in the cold war. Never really heard anything since. If it does become a reality, we now know who to blame. -KoS

Korea? Or Iraq? Not who’s responsible, but who is to blame?

      knightofsteel · March 19, 2018 at 11:52 AM

Just did a quick search and turns out it doesn’t even have a direct google result. Only country capable of making something like this right now would be US or maybe China

Weird. Lol. Well India is just a short miissile ride from here now. You all better behave!

Mate some of us are actually burning 500 quintals of sandalwood to reduce pollution. I would say bring it on. Moreover, if we are in range, it means you guys are in our range too -KoS

That would be so depressing isnt it? Nobody on the planet to live and enjoy the beauty of life..Great take on the prompt

    knightofsteel · March 19, 2018 at 11:19 PM

That is a good point. On the other hand, do we really enjoy the beauty of life or get stuck in its complexities and despair?
