[Translated: Ask them]

Spread the love

When the dark days came, when the shadow of gloom lay in the heart.

The mind said, ask friends, from there you have found rest till now.

Asked by friends, then they said we can’t do anything, ask your parents.

The parents told me to ask the pundits and the Pandit told me to ask God.

Lord said ask the heart and  the heart said, ask the mind.

Interrogated, the mind, he said,

“O’ Wandering friend,

Now the time has come, leave this world.”

I would have loved the ending which says “Not to worry about that dark shadow lingering behind…” more though…as i have developed a tendency to not see negativity around me 🙂

This one just came to me in a moment and I posted it. If I have more ideas for poems I will include some positivity in them too 🙂
